We believe on trickle up or bottom approach concept, where decisions are being designed based on the suggestion of the community. We work in partnership with local, state/central government and international groups to improve quality of life for vulnerable people in under-served, differently abled, scheduled tribe and scheduled caste and underprivileged dalit communities.

  •   Creating models of sustainable agriculture and livelihood options to improve the quality of lives of the poor marginalized and excluded.
  •   Promoting and protecting rights and entitlements of children with demonstrated intervention models of child protection and care. Specific focus on Disability.
  •   Facilitating gender justice, promoting and protecting rights and entitlements of women with dignity and participation of women in all spheres of life for an empowered, gender-sensitive and violence-free just society..
  •   Promoting collective action among CBOs and Civil Society Organizations by building capacities and technical expertise to effectively address the issues affecting the lives of women and children, both at the grassroots and policy level.
  •  Developing capacities of small farmers for efficient and effective functioning to become a centre of excellence on gender, child rights and protection and sustainable livelihood in a systemic, transparent and accountable work culture.

FORWARD has been working directly with community, particularly with small farmers, women and children, who are struggling with poverty...Promoting and protecting rights and entitlements of children with demonstrated intervention models of child protection and care. Specific focus on Disability.


THEORY OF CHANGE:

The internalized theory of change reflects that collectivization and catalysing those who are struggling with poverty and injustice ... are capacitated to build their own institutions , write their own fate and bring qualitative in their lives .The empowered communities demand for entitlements, access services, and tap flagship schemes/ programmes and mobilize resources for their own sustainable development. The sensitized communities take collective initiatives towards addressing the issues of caste and gender based discrimination, social exploitation, quality education, environment degradation and climate change.
